WITH GRATITUDE John Henry Jowett, a British preacher of an earlier generation, said this about gratitude: “Gratitude is a vaccine, an antitoxin, and an antiseptic.” What did he mean? He meant that gratitude, like a vaccine, can prevent the invasion of a disgruntled, discouraged spirit. Like an antitoxin, gratitude can prevent the effects of the poisons of cynicism, criticalness, and grumbling. Like an antiseptic, a spirit of gratitude can soothe and heal the most troubled spirit. Without a doubt, we could spend much time focusing on the many things that went wrong during the past year, but I want to remind ourselves of the tremendous importance and calling we have as a people of Thankfulness to serve in God’s Kingdom. Thank you very much for supporting the Work and Witness of Literature4Africa (L4A) at Frontline Fellowship. Your support enables us to continue to provide quality Christian Resources and Love-in-Action for Pastors, Churches, Chaplains, Bible Schools, Missionaries and Evangelists throughout South Africa, as we serve Christians, work for Biblical Reformation and pray for Spiritual Revival amongst God’s children. Thanks to God for all those who had a hand in preparing, packaging, loading, shipping and financing these vital literature resources. The pictures and testimonies which follows, attest of your Labours of Love, Care and Service towards the Kingdom of God. As we constantly grow in the knowledge of Christ Jesus, we trust the Lord, that together with you, we may continue our labour’s with peace in our souls, trusting and absolutely committing ourselves and our all to His management. May you be encouraged by the emails from the Literature4Africa mailbag as we share our gratitude for your faithfulness and support. Yours for the Fulfilment of the Great Commission.
